On the 2nd, the Nanjing University Chinese Orchestra held a Chinese ethnic concert at the Ljubljana University Conservatory of Music in the center of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Slovenia’s first gentleman Aleš Musar, Chinese Ambassador to Slovenia Wang Shunqing and more than 100 people people watched the show.

The concert was hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Ljubljana. The orchestra, conducted by Professor Zhang Jingbo, performed classics such as "A Hundred Birds Pay Attendance to the Phoenix".

Daniela Volch, the foreign director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Ljubljana, said that music has no borders and can be understood without translation, and can quickly bring us closer to each other.

Zhang Junfeng, Vice President of Nanjing University, said that as a messenger of culture, the Nanjing University Chinese Orchestra presents the beauty of Chinese music, demonstrates the diversity of culture, uses beautiful music to strengthen cooperation, and enhances understanding and friendship.
